MightyNest MightyFix Review!

I love trying subscriptions, but don't some of them just seem so pricey?  I was first drawn to MightyFix due to the products, and decided to give it a whirl because the price was right - $10 a month with free shipping!

I've received five different shipments so far:

#1 - Bee's Wrap:  one small, one large
#2 - Wool Dryer Balls:  three
#3 - Produce Bags:  five
#4 - Dish Clothes: five (wash cloth size)
#5 - Meliora Laundry Sampler:  one laundry stain stick, three travel packs of lemon, lavender, and unscented laundry soap

I love the bee's wrap, dryer balls, and dish clothes.  I haven't remembered to use my produce bags or laundry soap, yet, so I'll have to let you know about those later.

Price-wise, I've kept track of two different comparisons.  Compared to the prices on MightyNest itself, I have saved $21.91 on these items - not including shipping.  Compared to the prices on Amazon (except the laundry sampler; the product was not available on Amazon, so I compared with the Meloria prices), I have saved $8.84 - again, not including shipping.

I definitely feel this has been a good value for trying out new products that are better for the environment!  I encourage you to try it, as well.

Guess what!  Let me know if you want to try it, and I can send you a discount code for your first month!  You can even pick which of the items I've already tried you'd like to start with!

Well, It's Wednesday

I had two sales today, the first of which had 400 cars in it.  Yeesh, I'm so glad there's three of us rotating that one.  I only had 70 cars in the afternoon, and pretty much got to leave after that, yea!  Of course, I had to stop by the doctor's office to get a new doctor's note for Jellybean, because the one she gave us yesterday didn't have an "end date" on it, and that's super important since she's missing P.E.  Never mind that recess consists of sitting on the sidewalk after lunch...can't miss P.E.!

I finished all of Bones season 11...I want season 12 to start right now, please!  I need to know why this dude who used to love Dr. B suddenly wants her dead.  Did she not visit him enough?  WHY?!

Anyway.  Today was grocery shopping day, as it is every Wednesday.  The craziest thing happened.  This random dude with long red hair and a beard similar to Sexyman was coming towards us - topless, by the way.  He was fit enough, and had lots of tattoos.  Before I could see him, I thought I heard somebody say, "Sexymaaaaan!"  (Only, you know, Sexyman's real name.)  Then when they were right beside each other, Random Dude raises both hands for a high five (ten?) and says, "Wassuuup?!"  Sexyman was completely and utterly shocked and swears he didn't recognize this guy AT ALL, and he just kept walking!  If you could have seen Random Dude's face!  He looked so upset, like a hurt puppy dog!  I almost high fived him myself!  Sexyman later told me he almost did, but he just didn't know what to do.  It was all very funny and pretty sad at the same time.

Hmmm....let's see...Bookworm has to give examples of social injustices for school.  The teacher is requiring they be illegal social injustices, even though the definition of social injustice only states they are USUALLY illegal.  She wants to come up with some that not everybody in the class will have, but she has to find websites talking about them, too, and she can't seem to.  I dunno.  Maybe I need to teach the kid to how to google better.

Exciting Day Around Here

The definition of exciting:  I missed both of my sales!  Jellybean had to go to the doctor for some stomach issues and a pulled Achilles.  The timing meant no work for me, so I spent most of the day watching Bones, Season 11.

I love Bones.

Actually, there really was some excitement yesterday - Sexyman found out he passed the last class he needed for his degree!  In a few weeks, he'll have his diploma.  I'm so proud of him!

Anyway, this evening will at least be a fairly normal Tuesday.  Taco Tuesday for dinner, half-marathon training for Sexyman and Bookworm, and more Bones for me, hahahaha!

OH, oh, oh, and?  I'm starting a plank challenge with an online friend.  Gotta do 20 seconds tonight. Maybe I can stick with it since I have a "workout buddy"?  We'll see.  Eating better is going pretty well.  I started a slightly modified whole30 last Tuesday, so this would be Day 8!  I've had two meals that were not allowed, but (unlike previous times), it didn't spill over into the next days or even meal.

YEA, ME!
